Since 2017, an academy for level planning

Kanya Srisuk

Kanya spent twelve years on a commodity research desk in Bangkok, where her job each Sunday night was a one-page sheet of levels for the week ahead. She kept the sheets. In March 2017 she rented a room near the Phra Samut Chedi ferry and invited four acquaintances to mark a chart with her instead of receiving the sheet already finished.

She still teaches every Planning Desk and hosts the Thursday circle. Her rule in the room is simple: a level without a source, a test, or a cancel condition does not stay on the working page.

Wichai Boonma

Wichai kept the morning level sheet for a rubber-trading office in Samut Prakan for nine years before joining the academy in 2019. He leads the Saturday clinic and shares private sittings. He is strict about prior highs that have already been closed through, and he would rather drop a line than defend it out of habit.

How the company grew

The first year was one evening a week and a stack of charts from a print shop on Sukhumvit. By 2019 the ferry room was full on Thursdays, and Wichai took the Saturday morning so weekday students were not the only people who could attend. In 2021 the academy signed the lease at the present address, a single room with a long table, velvet that was already in the building, and space for eight seats without crowding the aisle.

The registered name has not changed. Invoices, the door plate, and this site all use Lucid Passagefield Academy Co., Ltd.. There is no second branch.

How a class is run

Instruction is in English, because several students commute from offices where that is the language of their own level sheets. Charts are printed. Argument is about closes, swings, and tests, not about who was louder. Kanya stops a discussion that leaves the page.

The academy sits in a district of warehouses, ferry traffic, and households that finish work after dark. Evening hours are deliberate. A person can mark the week’s levels and still catch a late bus toward Bang Phli.
