Cookies and the banner choice
This page describes the small amount of storage this site uses. It sits alongside the privacy notice.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a site can ask your browser to keep. Local storage is a similar drawer in the browser that scripts can read later. Both can remember a preference between visits. This academy site uses local storage for the banner and does not set its own advertising cookies.
Types we distinguish
Essential storage remembers a choice you have already made, such as Accept or Reject on the banner, so the banner does not keep asking. Analytics storage would count visits. We do not run an analytics cookie of our own. If you press Accept, we still only record that word in local storage; we have not attached a separate measurement script. If you press Reject, the same key stores the word rejected, and every class page, form, and note remains usable.

Third-party cookies
We do not embed advertising, social buttons, or video players. The third-party contact is the font request described above. We do not control cookies Google may set when that request is made. Their own documentation describes those cookies.
How to manage or disable storage
Use the Accept and Reject buttons on the banner. To reverse a choice, clear site data for lucid-passagefield.click in your browser settings, then reload; the banner will appear again. You can also block local storage or third-party cookies in the browser. Blocking fonts may cause the page to fall back to other serif faces; the words remain readable.
Impact of disabling
Rejecting the banner, or clearing storage, does not lock the site, the reservation form, or the class notes. You may see the banner again on the next visit. Blocking all cookies and storage can also stop the banner from remembering a rejection, so it will return each time.
